Chaung-tha Beach

Chaungtha beach is located 31 mile to the west of Pathein ( Bassein) in Ayeyarwaddy Division. The best way to get to Chaungtha is by car from Yangon. Yangon to Pathein about 5 hour drive for 115 mile through delta regions of Ayeyarwaddy division and Pathein to Chaung-tha takes about 2 hours.

A regular double-decker boat leaves Yangon about 4 pm every evening and reaches Pathein early in the next day. Due to easy accessible from Yangon, Chaungtha beach receive more local visitors annually.
