Royal Beach Motel
The Royal Beach Motel is a great place to stay if you’re on a budget
or even if you're not. It is a small family-run guesthouse. The
owner and staff are very friendly. The owner is a former local tour
guide who was able to put together enough money to open a
guesthouse. The rooms are right on the beach. There are inner tubes
for use.
Owner can arrange bus and plane tickets. The only drawback is that because
of its isolated position at the far South end of the beach that isolation
allows you to have the beach to yourself, and the restaurant at the guesthouse
is fairly reasonably priced and very good for seafood and stay away from the
chicken. It's also the closest hotel to the fishing village, which makes it
an easy 15 minute walk away rather than an hour walk if you are staying on
the other end of the beach.
