Transport:
Myanmar Airways, Yangon Airways and Air Mandalay are available daily
from Yangon to Ngapali. After the monsoon season, there are direct

car, it takes about 12 hours from Nga Thine Chaung - Gwa Road and about
20 hours from Pyi-Taunggote Road.

Brief History:
Formerly known as the "Strand Hotel Sandoway", the Steel Brothers Company first established it on March 15, 1961.
It was transferred to the Ministry of Trade in 1965 under the name of the Ngapali Beach Hotel and again transferred
to a private company, "Lone Ma Lay Group" under the same name on November 1st, 1999.
