An enchanting Journey into a land of fantasy. Kyaik Htiyo Pagoda (the Golden Rock) is in the area known in the ancient days as Suvannabhumi (the Golden Land).


Day 1st Yangon-Bago-Kyaik Hto

Overland drive from Yangon to Bago about 50 miles for an hour drive. Bago city sightseeing, the ancient capital of Mon, known as Hansavati. Sightseeing; Kyaikpon Pagoda- 4 gigantic seated Buddha Image, Shwemawdaw Pagoda-the highest Pagoda in Myanmar, Shwethalyaung Pagoda- the oldest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar- 54 meter long and build in 994 A.D, the Mon village and Bago market.
Proceed to Golden Rock 62 mile (100 km) through the never ended Paddy fields. Arrive Kim-pun base camp at the foot of the mountain ridge. Drive up by special mountain truck to get to Yathae (Hermit) mountain and from there, hiking for an hour to Kyaikhto hotel near Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda.


Day 2nd Golden Rock-Yangon

Strolling around the hill sites and return to Base camp form the hill.
Drive back to Yangon.
