Pho Kyar Forest Resort

Pho Kyar Forest Resort is located in a foot-hill of Bago Yoma Mountain ranges and lies within the Saing Ya tropical reserved forest. 10 miles away from the town of Thargaya, which is a town on Yangon to Mandalay main motor-road and 204 miles from Yangon and 240 miles from Mandalay.

The Resort is emerged as the ideal eco-tourism spot has been having a special privilege of occupying a prime location. The camp is surrounded by a stream running in zigzag way within the area and fragrance of wild orchids, plants and trees in seasonal flowers. Day 1 Yangon – Pho Kyar Resort

In the morning pick up at your resident and drive to Bago for an hour and half. There is opportunity to see Bago city famous pagodas. Proceed to Taungoo about 4 and half hours drive. Lunch break at Taungoo or before on the way. Taungoo to Pho Kyar resort for 1 hour and half. Strolling around the Resort. Dinner and overnight at Pho Kyar Resort.

Day 2 Pho Kyar Resort

After breakfast observe how elephant bathe. Next for elephant riding in the forest about an hour. Lunch at Resort. Free and leisure for after lunch. In the evening, trek to elephant camp which is not far from Resort where you can meet elephant trainers and learn their way of life. Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 3 Pho Kyar Resort to Yangon or Mandalay

After breakfast, drive to Yangon or Mandalay. Arrive in the evening.
