Accessibility
Yangon to Pa-Lon village, 62 miles by car, Pa-Lon to Kwan-Ti-Myaung, not
asphalted road 8 miles, and Kwan Ti Myaung to MyaingHayWun camp,
forest road 4.5 miles.
Objectives
To develop and promote from Elephant Nursing Camp to Myaing Hay
Wun Elephant Research Camp.
Wildlife
Elephant, Gaur, Banteng, Barking deer. Wild boar, Hear Wild cat,
Green Peafowl, Ruddy shield duck, Hill myna, Blossom-headed
parajeet, pheasant, Red jungle fowl, Quail, Dove, Duck, lesser
tree duck, Butterflies, Moths, Snake, lizard, Ground lizard,
Grass lizard and Chameleon are present.
Conservation, Development and Research Programmes
- Research on Elephant Artificial Insemination (EAI)
- Increasing elephant population by Elephant Artificial
Insemination (EAI) method.
- Study reproduction of female elephant by feeding food additives.
Opportunities for Study and Recreation
- Study of fishes and aquatic creatures in La-har-ma-nge
fishpond and recreation by fishing.
- Viewing of pyinkadoe (Iron wood) plantation situated near
Sinte and listening to the sound of birds.
- Hiking and mountaineering in the forest.
- Observing training of domestic elephants.
- Elephants riding around the camp.
- Study of the capture of wild elephants.

Day ( 1 ) Yangon ~ Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp
Drive to Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp, about 2 hours driving from Yangon. Relex
and leisure. Overnight at Myaing Hay Wun.
Day ( 2 ) Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp
Aftre Breakfast,arrange trekking with elephants about 45 minutes.Along the
trekking journey by riding elephant beauty and serenities of natural virgin
forest and its surrounding would be unforgettable. Riding elephant may cause you
much excitation. Visiting around the camp including to see how elephant bathe
and washed by their mahouts. Seeing how the elephants extract log woods from the
other side of creek.Lunch at Myaing Hay Wun with Myanmar Traditional lunch. And
then, seeing the training of the elephants the show.Visiting the family of the
mahouts and their daily life.Dinner at Restaurant and overnight at Myaing Hay
Wun.
Day ( 3 ) Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp ~ Yangon
After breakfast , Leaving the camp and drive back to Yangon.
