DAY 01 YANGON ARRIVAL
On arrive at Yangon International Airport, meet you and transfer to hotel. Afternoon, excursion
to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha and Shwedagon Pagoda, one of
the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist
Monument in Myanmar, where one can see the lifestyle of Myanmar
People. Strolling in downtown in the evening. Overnight in
Yangon.
DAY 02 YANGON / KENGTUNG (BY FLIGHT)
Fly to Kengtung with private airline. Arrive Kyaing Tong in the late afternoon.
All flights from Yangon to Kyaing Tong fly via Tachilake. Transfer to Hotel.
Evening sightseeing – Mahamyat Muni Pagoda. Strolling around
town and Sunset with landscape at the hill of a tree where 245 year old
Ka-nyin (Diptero carpus) tree planted by King Alaungmintaya - the founder of Third
Myanmar Empire. Overnight in New Kyaing Tong hotel.
DAY 03 KENGTUNG SIGHTSEEING
This morning will visit water Buffalo market and central market. You will have opportunity
to see local tribe groups. Riding on car about 45 minutes and
hiking to Pin Tauk areas and trek into lash and green forest with beautiful landscape view.
Lunch brake at Pin Tauk waterfall.
Visiting Akha and Enn tribe villages about 4 hours for entire
trip. The hiking is doing easy and slow.
Return to hotel in the late afternoon and overnight.
Day 5 - 16 sep 09 - Trekking to Panlay village.
Then, driving about an hour and hiking to Panlay village of Enn
tribe in Pin Tauk area. Next to Akha tribe villages and lunch on the way at track
junction camp. After lunch visit 4 Akha villages and return to your car. Return
to hotel in the evening and overnight.
DAY 04 KENGTUNG/HEHO (BY FLIGHT) - HEHO - INLE (BY CAR)
Morning flight to Heho, the Shan State known for many colorful markets, scenery, country sides and especially its people, a mixture of tribal races. Drive from Heho Airport to Inle Lake. Overnight
at lake side hotel.
DAY 05 INLE LAKE SIGHTSEEING ( BY BOAT )
Morning after breakfast, riding on a boat for lake
sightseeing. Highlights are "well known scenic beauty and its unique leg rower Tour include Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda; Ngaphal Chaung typical Shan Monastery, wonderful floating gardens; native method of fishing ; traditional weaving villages; and village life in the lake. (Please note that the floating market is once every 5 days, but may vary according to the Buddhist
Sabbath days). Drive to Pindaya, 100 km away from Inle Lake. On the way enjoy the scenic beauty along the country side. Overnight in
Inle Lake.
DAY 06 INLE LAKE / PINDAYA (BY CAR)In the morning excursion to Pindaya Cave, famous for its
countless number of different styles Buddha images from
different periods.
DAY 07 PINDAYA / HEHO AIRPORT (BY CAR)
Drive to Heho Airport and fly to Mandalay, the last capital of Myanmar Monarchs. Transfer to hotel and check-in. Leisure and overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 08 MANDALAY – SIGHTSEEING
Morning after breakfast, visit to a colorful Kin-dan market fish and
vegetable market often busy with daily life activities. Afternoon visit Maha Muni Buddha Image and continue to Shwe Kyaung, a
monastery once King Mindon’s royal palace apartment for meditation.
At last, visit to Mandalay hill to enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for the panoramic view of Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 9 MANDALAY -Kyauk Myaung Cruise (Miles 45*Km 83 – 6 Hrs)
Transfer to the
Sagaing Jetty to board the ship.
The check-in time is between (11.30 to
12:00) hrs. Lunch will be served at 13.00. Sail upstream (ETD 12.30/13.00) and
moor off overnight at a river village North of Mandalay.
DAY 10 Kyauk Myaung - Mingun –Amarapura (Miles 54*Km 100 – 5 Hrs)
Visit the spectacular potteries-making village of Kyauk Myaung, and see the
manufacture stages of the famous 50 Gallons (200 Litters) pots (1.5 hours visit).
Cruise back downstream to Mingun (ETA 14.00 hrs). Visit the unfinished pagoda,
the largest working bell in the world and the “home for the aged”. Continue
downstream to Mandalay and travel by coach to Amarapura, the penultimate Burmese
Royal Capital (1783) visit U-Bein Bridge at sunset on the way back to ship we
stop at one of the several silk-weaving factories.
Moor off overnight at Sagaing. Dance and Theatre performance on the Sundeck.
DAY 11
Sagaing – Ava - Yandabo (Miles58 *Km 107 – 5 Hrs)
Visit Sagaing, a hill studded with many Pagodas and Monasteries rich in wood
carving and religious art. We travel by coach to the ancient city of Ava,
capital of the Burmese Kingdom from 1364 to 1841. We explore the ruins by horse
cart visiting the beautiful 200 year’s old Bargayar teak Monastery, Nanmyint
watchtower (27mt. high) and the Me Nu Ok Kyaung monastery.
Return to the ship
and embarkation at (ETD 11.00 hrs). Stop at Yandabo, a picturesque river village
specializing in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo- Burmese
war signed on Feb. 24, 1826. Explore the village stopping to some pot-making
workshops to learn their unique production technique, the school and the
monastery.
Continue sailing until late night. Moor off overnight at a river village.
DAY 12 CRUISE – BAGAN
(Miles 50*Km 92 – 4 Hrs)
Early in the morning we proceed downriver to Bagan. Enjoy the sunrise near Bagan.
Breakfast and passengers will disembark
at Bagan around 08.30 hrs.
Check in
Hotel. Lunch. Afternoon visit Myinkabar Gubyaukkyi Temple, a
typical Mon style temple; Manuha Temple, a captured king's
impression of life in prison; Nanpaya Temple; an earliest
masterpiece with its fine stone carvings; photo stop at Seinnyet
Nyima Pagodas, a temple and a stupa with exquisite design and
Mingalar zedi pagoda, on of the last ones built in pagan; sunset
from a suitable temple or pagoda. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 13 BAGAN
Morning sightseeing begins with a visit to the Nyaung Oo Market;
next to Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas;
Wetkyee-in Gubyaukkyi Temple, with fine mural paintings of jataka scenes;
Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings and visit
lacquerware factory before or after lunch. Late afternoon visit to Ananda Temple, an
architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross; and
Thanbinnnyu, the highest of Bagan Temples ; and Bu paya, a Pyu
style pagoda on the brink of the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River.
Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 14 BAGAN/ YANGON (BY FLIGHT)
Breakfast at Hotel. Back to Yangon with morning flight . Afternoon
visit Sule Paya, Yangon City centre and main market of Yangon. Overnight in
Yangon or direct connection with the Thai Airways flight to
Bangkok.
DAY 15 YANGON DEPARTURE
Transfer to airport for International Departure Flight. End of service.
